Speedy slaying, for the cyborg who has places to go and things to do!

(7:25) Level 3 ('The Truth and Reconciliation') on Heroic. Sticking with the same passage horde battle set-up, things get extra intense now as I try to wipe out the 63 covies fast! Times are measured from (a) when I start moving or doing something, to (b) when the covies are all dead.

00:02 (Play 1 - AR) Managed 67.6 seconds for this first AR play. Takes a fair while before I get a grenade into the stack (0:52), but it does the job.

01:14 (Play 2 - Plasma pistol) A very similar time for this plasma pistol play. Some nice Grunt jumbling in the stack area, at the end, with plasmas going off behind the closed door.

02:30 (Play 3 - AR again) Bit faster with the AR this time; down to 61 seconds.

03:35 (Play 4 - Plasma rifle) 66.1 for the plasma rifle; very close to my first AR time here.

04:45 (Play 5 - No shooting) Something a bit different this time, as I forbid myself any shooting! So, just grenades and melee. I pick up a plasma pistol because that gives my favourite melee style. Takes me 98 seconds before the last covie is dead.

06:27 (Play 6 - AR yet again) This final AR play is much faster than the earlier two. I couldn't measure it as precisely as the others, due to the remnants of the horde being taken out in an extended chain reaction, but it's about 46 seconds. Based on a Jackal's death cry, which is the last death cry I hear, I suspect the time is close to 46.2 seconds.

Closing remarks By the way, these aren't necessarily the fastest times I got, for the various weapon limitations. For the movie, I was selecting plays partly for their entertainment value, or if I there were bits I liked.

I'm almost caught up with my movie backlog by now, but you can expect a second dose of speed work tomorrow. Except, doing without grenades!
