BCM655 - Rockslide megabattle, another three plays

(7:44) Level 2 ('Halo') on Heroic. Got some excellent action here, in three more plays of the same set-up. First there's a lifeboat corner defence (a brand new battle plan), then a plateau side defence (a plan not shown before), and finally a plateau base rocks defence, a plan introduced recently in BCM651.

Commentary

00:02 (Play 1 - Lifeboat corner defence) When I tried this battle idea, it turned out to be excellent fun. I recorded a whole bunch of good plays but liked this one the most. It has a good hectic phase at the start, and actually I go down to one health bar. Both of my Marines survive.

02:14 (Play 2 - Plateau side defence) I really thought that first red Elite in the tunnel was going to go up in a nice pink bang from my needles, but he backed away and evaded a critical dose. If I'd got him, maybe this fight would've gone better. In the event, it gets rather sticky around 3:47 when I turn around after dealing with a Jackal sneaking in from the rear, and find a bunch of covies almost face to face with me, including two Elites. I manage to get through it though.

Couple of nice Elite tags along the way, even if one of them did kill my last hog buddy.

05:32 (Play 3 - Plateau base rocks defence) I had good fun with this plan in BCM651, so I decided to give it a further go with this new set-up. This play has a rather unique comedy ending, where I get a bit too grenade-happy and end up killing my Marines with a Jackal bomb. Whoops!

I didn't bother going after the dropship 4 Elite here. Just kept things focused on the battle at the rocks. Incidentally, by coincidence the corner rock I've got is the same design as the one I had in BCM651.
