(5:32) Various levels and difficulties. My 28th 'freakiness and fun' compilation shows 13 freaky or amusing incidents, most of which occurred while recording footage for my usual movies - so you may recognize some of the situations.

Released May 21st 2019, gameplay recorded 2015-2019.

Commentary

00:02 (Forest fix) This Jackal seems to be having a spot of bother with the scenery, but I'm able to give him a bit of help getting free. Just needed a little shock to the system. You may recall another Jackal having this sort of trouble in BCM312 around 3:49. April 2019 footage from when I was recording for BCM345. Level 2, Easy.

00:26 (Flare zap) Carefully timing my initial throw by the beat of the music, I get a flare zapped by the blue beam. Amusing I thought. I considered doing a movie on this topic, but wasn't sure I'd get around to it. Here's at least one example though. December 2018 footage from when I was recording for BCM325. Level 2, Legendary.

00:53 (Horizontal Herbie) This happened when I was setting up a mob battle. Having just blasted the Shade over, I trigger the battle and I'm just about to get airborne when I realise that the Shade Grunt ('Herbie') has actually boarded, despite the horizontal angle of the Shade. How'd he manage that? I may check into this later; perhaps explore it in a movie. Anyway, eventually I tag him and he bails amusingly. April 2019 footage from when I was recording for BCM346. Level 5, Heroic.

01:42 (Tail shot) Remember the departure death anomaly, which can potentially mislead you into thinking you shot a pilot out of his Banshee? There was one example in BCM204, but now here's another. Pretty good one! April 2019 footage from when I was recording for BCM344. Level 2, Normal.

01:59 (You're going what?) In this 'grippy hog' incident, Stacker pops out and is in the process of saying "I'm goin' in" when he interrupts it with a scream. Sounds amusing. To be honest I think he would've had considerable trouble "going in" anyway, given that he was halfway down the cliff. The only place he was going was down. October 2018 footage from when I was recording for BCM311. Level 2, Heroic.

02:15 (Hanging Ghost) What you initially see here is a Ghost with 16 frags underneath. I launch it but it doesn't come down. When I fly up, I see why. It's got freakishly caught in the lower deck! As an extra point of amusement, a Grunt gets splattered when I ram it. March 2019 footage from when I was playing around with trying to rocket a launched Ghost. Level 5, Easy.

02:49 (Hieroglyph Jackal) After slaying some covies in the hillside survivor area, I find a Jackal body splayed out on the side of a rock, along with his plasma pistol. Reminds me of a hieroglyph. I subsequently launch the body, but the plasma pistol remains in place. April 2019 footage from when I was recording for BCM345. Level 2, Easy.

03:20 (Grunty turncoat) Looks like we've picked up a Grunt who's switched to the UNSC side! I make some comedy out of it, but what's actually going on is that the Grunt and Stacker are oblivious of each other. It's from the same time I got the 3:58 clip in BCM343 ("Anyone see anything?"). January 2015 footage. Level 5, Heroic.

03:40 (Back-up frags) My frag doesn't destroy the incoming Banshee, but it sets off two others which do, heh heh! August 2018 footage from when I was recording for BCM305. Level 2, Easy.

03:56 (Plasma foul-up) After failing with my first tag attempt on this panicking Grunt, I get him with the second but things don't end well for me. Silly cyborg. April 2019 footage from when I was recording for BCM344. Level 2, Normal.

04:18 (Pilot extraction) Back when I was exploring Sligfantry's Banshee grab method involving getting the Banshee stuck in the rim, I got this example of extracting the pilot by tagging the Banshee. I had quite a bit of footage relating to that topic, but I doubt I'll be doing a movie on it, so I thought I'd use up this relatively amusing clip here instead. April 201Z footage. Level 5, Legendary I think.

04:39 (Bridge boob) While working on getting a Grunt going grenade-crazy, I had this amusing episode on the bridge. Two Grunts head for the far side but change their minds and start coming back - and the second one ends up blasted by his own plasma, hah! He seems to realise his mistake at the last moment, crying "Whoops!" April 2019 footage from when I was recording for BCM. Level 2, Legendary.

04:54 (Sneaky Shade) What's this? Are the covies getting a bit sneaky with their Shade placements so they can ambush me? Actually no. When setting up a mob battle I'd pushed the Shade off the plateau but didn't notice that it failed to flip. It was still gripping the plateau wall (reminds me of "Grippy Shade" in BCM164). I found it later and got a checkpoint so I could do some takes of having fun with it. Specifically I focused on launching the Grunt and rocketing him. This was my favourite take, on account of the exceptionally long and unlikely hit. I also like how a Marine comes into the frame and looks in the direction of the victim. A good clip on which to end a movie. May 2019 footage. Level 5, Heroic.

Closing remarks Hey, only thirteen incidents this time. That's actually the least ever (previously the lowest was fifteen). I just happened to have some relatively long incidents I wanted to include.
